We run ESXi 5.1 Update, connecting to Netapp storage device using NFS.
I have noticed on the events tab of our ESX hosts that we occasionally see an All paths down state, which generally clears itself after about 6-7 seconds.
From browsing the web I understand the workaround is to amend the NFS.maxqueuedepth from 4294967295 to 64 via the advanced settings of the ESXi hosts.
Can anybody confirm as to whether this is an eligible workaround or whether this is a bad idea?
