Hope somebody can help.
I have recently upgrade my VM from Windows 7 to Windows 8. Generally everything seems to be running fine and I am able to install new applications without any problems. I am however experiencing issues within Chrome and Internet Explorer. I can browse websites without any problems, but when I try to download something such as an image, both browsers present Failed to Download errors. I have tried downloading the files to various places ranging from the Desktop to individual folders and the same errors still occur.
Other things to note, the links for My Documents and Downloads within my Favourites no longer work. I have checked to make sure the VM operating system is set to Windows 8 x64
Has anyone come across this error before and know how to resolve it?
