AppHa Console Plugin

Not Sure whether it's the right place to raise discussion for these sort of issues or not.

We have Symantec APPHA setup recent build on one of our environment. The vCenter and the APPHA console Server are running on separate VMs. APPHA console Installation was successful and the plugin was registered with vCenter server as well. Below are the issues that we encountered and couldn't get the plugin to work as it was supposed to be.

1. When tried to enable the plugin under mange plugins in vsphere client, It pops up dialog box saying unknow file type and asking to open the file GetExtensionConfig from the Temp folder of the user profile where the vsphere client plugin was launched.

2. Though we click on OPEN with Internet Explorer or Cancel the Dialog box, it shows the plugin under enabled Plugins list. When navigated to the License Management tab under Plugin, It says "Please Verify the requested server is powered on" and doesn't show the inventory list.

3. Symantec APPHA Plugin has the view logs option every where in the every tab. Screenshot of the view Logs are attached "ViewLogs-LicenseManagement.JPG"

4. AppHA Tab on VMs/Cluster Level shows blank. When clicked on refresh, its says the same error as mentioned above.

vCenter and the APPHA Console are running on the same subnet/VLAN and there is restrictions between them. Can telnet the required ports as well.

From the screenshot, it looks to me that the GetVMInventory command execution was failed due to which the APPHA Plugin is not able to talk to the vcenter and the inventory list. Not sure where the problem lies exactly.

Raised Call with VMware/Symantec But no luck. Need your expertise in fixing this up.

Thanks in advance.
