Hi all. I'm wondering if anyone has written a script to verify networking and storage before putting a server back into a cluster after patching or other maintenance.
I'm envisioning a script that is run before entering maintenance that collects the networking info and status and also lun names. Then after maintenance but before being put back into service, the script is run again, or another script - that compares the settings from before and after and alerts if something is different.
We're trying to offload some tasks to another group and make the process of verifying proper operation a more automated task.
Any thoughts or pointers would be greatly appreciated.
