I have a laptop i7 - 4 cores with Windows10 with newest upgrades. Ubuntu 18.04 or 19.10 is a guest system in workstation v 15.5
Before guest OS starts the fan doesn't work.
When guest OS starts the fan is triggered and starts working all the time. I checked the temperature of the processor and it's the same as before the guest OS was started.
I saw a similar thread a year ago with Dell laptop but the solution was not found. The author said that with version earlier than 15.0.2 he hadn't problems with fan.
I don't have "silent mode" option in the laptop bios.
Do you have any idea what I should check?
All drivers are in the newest version.
